In the majority of European and Asian countries that have experienced low fertility levels, common aspects of fertility incentive policies include reconciling women's participation in the labor market with having children, and in other words, reconciling the role of motherhood with the role of employee and worker. Of course, the effectiveness of fertility incentive policies has varied in these countries. The main question of the research is what are the most important strategies of the selected countries regarding work-family balance policies and the extent to which these policies are effective in improving fertility and childbearing indicators? This study used the scoping review method and selected 13 countries. The results showed the South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and Turkey countries faced the challenge of work-family compatibility.Meanwhile, Germany has been relatively among the most successful these countries in implementing family-friendly policies and balancing work and family in the last 25 years, and the role of immigration has been calibrated. In a stable economy and an optimistic outlook, by creating a context where Iranian women can combine childbearing with employment outside the home, encouraging gender equality and greater participation of fathers in childcare, we can hope for a positive effect of the policy on fertility in Iran.
